A few months ago I made the suggestion on the Fruit Jam OS Github page that screensavers would be a nice edition to the Fruit Jam OS. In case you don’t know, the Fruit Jam OS runs on the Adafruit Fruit Jam and acts as a front end for launching CircuitPython applications. Well, apparently it was a good idea because screensavers are now a part of the Fruit Jam OS.
Now that my suggestion has become a reality, I felt the need to write a couple of screensavers, so I came up with the Fruit Jam Screensaver Bundle. The initial release contained two screensavers, a random maze generator and solving in real-time and a star field screensaver reminiscent of a famous 1960s SciFi TV show. I recently added a third screensaver, a sliding puzzle simulating the 15 puzzle game. You can read more about it at the Adafruit Playground site.
